Yukon Public Schools invites our students to participate in a special art contest that will help brighten our Administration Building this summer! We are looking for YPS-inspired or summer-themed artwork! 16 artists will have their work proudly displayed in the YPS Administration Building for staff, families, and visitors to enjoy. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their talents and help us celebrate the season and our school community through art. This can be any type of art, from photography, drawing, pottery, and more! All artwork must be submitted by Thursday, June 18. Please email submissions in a .PDF format to communications@yukonps.com. On the deadline, you will be notified if your art was chosen. We encourage families to start creating artwork with their students that represents Yukon Public Schools and the joy of summer break! Each third-grade student received a certificate of completion as they wrapped up their year as elementary students and embark on the world of intermediate school. Before summer break, Mrs. Huffman at Ranchwood lead 3rd graders in their very own Mini Highland Games! They have been talking about forces all year long and the Highland Games is all about forces ! Graduation Information - Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at the Yukon High School Football Stadium. Doors will be open at 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. There are no tickets required for the event. Seats are a first come first serve basis. There is no bag policy for this event. All 4 gates will be open for entering the stadium. Attached you will find entrances and parking available for those attending the ceremony. Seniors will be given specific instructions from Mrs. Barlow at graduation practice. There also has been a communication posted in the 2026 Senior Rooms through the YPS App. We ask that you please be respectful to those around you when cheering. Yukon Public Schools is closely monitoring the weather forecast for Friday's graduation ceremony. In the event that unfavorable weather conditions prevent us from holding the ceremony on Friday, we have arranged for an alternate date. Graduation will be rescheduled to Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, with three possible time slots: 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., or 7:00 p.m. The ceremony will take place on the Yukon High School Football Field. We will make a final decision regarding rescheduling no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22nd.
